Guitar Body & Finish
The 52T guitar body made from a single piece of beautifully grained, medium weight swamp ash. A variety of comfort, carved features include a rear tummy cut, neck heel and forearm contour. The body is finished in a Urethane, 5-step process to achieve a great looking butterscotch blonde.
Hardware
All hardware, including the bridge, Gotoh Tuners and strap buttons are finished in chrome The strap buttons are Schaller strap-lock buttons.
Pickups & Signal Controls
Seymour Duncan Antiquity Telecaster pickups are installed in both bridge and neck positions. The pickups are wound and aged to both sound and look like pckups made in the 1950's. A three position blade switch with black top hat knob, selects standard tele pickup configurations for that classis tele sound. A single volume and tone control backup this classic configuration.
Neck construction
The neck is made from a flatsawn piece of maple that is capped by a matched maple fingerboard with a radius based upon a 7.25 to 12 inch compounded radius - This aids feel for chording in the lower frets and fast, choke-free fretting in the higher frets. The fingerboard radius is also seperately compounded to aid balanced feel across all of the strings. The 52T Classic custom guitar neck includes a two-way truss rod (adjustable at the neck heel) and two internal carbon fiber shafts to improve stiffness. The combination of truss rod and carbon fiber shafts make a very stable neck that needs little adjustment through the changing seasons. This neck has a rounder C shaped rear profile that is rolled at the edges.
The inlays are our own special shape, we call the negative K.
The nut is handcut from a piece of smooth, hard bone. |
